Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Anti-Agent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Anti-Agent from France. These terms are governed by French law.

2. Description of service

Anti-Agent is an AI notebook that helps you create, organize, and retain your own learning material. The Service is available through our website (antiagent.io) and our mobile and desktop applications, and one account works across all of them. The Service includes:

  • Rich notebook editor with source imports
  • AI partner for research, editing, and annotations
  • Spaced repetition flashcards (FSRS)
  • AI dialogues and skill exercises
  • Shareable curricula library

3. Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Abuse, harass, or harm other users or our team
  • Attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the Service
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service (pages, sources, flashcards, dialogues, exercises). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Your content may be processed by AI models to provide personalized assistance. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to generate research, edits, flashcards, dialogues, and suggestions. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Pricing, subscriptions, and payments

Anti-Agent offers a free plan with monthly AI credits. Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are optional auto-renewable monthly subscriptions that add credits and capacity. The current price is always displayed before you purchase and may vary by country and currency. We will provide clear notice of any pricing changes.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your payment method is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the start of the new period.

Where you purchased matters

  • Purchased on the web: payment is processed by Stripe. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time from the Plans page in the app, which opens your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Purchased in the iOS app: payment is charged to your Apple ID account and Apple's Terms of Use also apply. You can manage or cancel the subscription in the app (Plans page) or in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy.

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or your content; you keep the free plan and everything you created.

Right of withdrawal (EU)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for web purchases. By starting your subscription immediately, you consent to the service beginning before the withdrawal period ends; if you withdraw within 14 days, we may deduct an amount proportional to the service already provided. For App Store purchases, exercise this right through Apple.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings panel. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anti-Agent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anti-Agent from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your country of residence.
